What a beautiful place! Super close to Holly Bay and Laurel Lake if you want a nice, clean place to tuck in for the night. We have 5 girls and the playground, basketball court, volleyball court, recreational room, horseshoe pits, fire pit, etc. ... We loved it. For a fishing trip, boating or swimming the next day, this was a great getaway close by. My mom is disabled and spending time with my parents and family here was so perfectly accessible. Great memories..
Located about 15 miles from Corbin KY, this repurposed old CCC camp is a gem in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The bunk houses have been remodeled into cozy, comfortable, and clean cabins with all the amenities, and there are several RV sites. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. There are central fire pits with plenty of fuel provided, a rec room for gatherings, a simple playground, and accommodations for small groups. The total number of guests can't be many, so it's a quiet and far cry from a KOA. Convenient to the recreational opportunities in the NF, but private and peaceful. Would gladly recommend this lovely spot and hope to return!
Likely the cleanest campground I've seen! Immaculate bathroom / shower We have stayed twice in our pop-up. Cabins also seem to be very nice. right next to the Sheltowee trail and close to the lake. Management was very accommodating and kind to us in our unique situation on our second visit. Ideal for a group or organization retreat.
